My Blissful Selfishness...

Today is a Gore day...all about us. And I love it! Matt is off work for Columbus Day. I love Columbus for what all he did to give my husband paid days off! I slept until 9:30!! We're going to eat lunch with Anderson at school, and then hang out at home until the boys go to the movies with daddy this afternoon. (Mommy has yoga...yay!!) Anyway, I'm still in my jammies and feel no guilt about it whatsoever. Maybe I'll just stay in them... Well, since I'm totally self-absorbed today and can't seem to think of anything but what makes me happy on this perfect day, I thought I'd share some pictures of my family with you. Wow...conceit is obviously not a hat I find difficult wearing today!

"When all the stars were falling, I reached up like you said.
All the stars were falling, one hit me in the head,
And I fell down, down, down. I fell down, down."

I should heed that warning by Lisa Loeb...a usual end to my "perfect days"!

I'll pray against it...Lord, don't teach me anything today. You're lessons come with some sacrifices and suffering lately. Today let's just skip class, and just enjoy my blissful selfishness together. Amen.

HA! You're so funny. I love it. I think this is a nice day of rest for a change for you. Why call it selfishness?..How about a gift. I don't think God will throw a star at your head for enjoying the day He made for you. Keep your jammies on...wear them to yoga class...I dare you. Mama 'zerves it!!

Oh Abbey, it's quite shameful to still be in your pajamas. I'm very disappointed in you. Well, it's actually jealousy. I've been bathed for hours. I really only like to shower if I'm completely gross. I hate doing it out of social politeness. And yet... Here I am. The picture of clean. And not in my pajamas. Darn.
