What do you get when you add together... Pretty firecrackers...

You get the fourth of July 2007 at our house.
It was a blast, quite literally. We're all wiped out today, but it was worth the exhaustion. It was a different year in terms of decorations, I must say. After downloading these pictures, I noticed a "not so 4th of July like" Christmas wreath hanging on the patio door. Wow. I forgot about that one. Guess that's one less that Matt will have to hang up this year. No sense in taking it down now.
Well, thank you Quinns, for a super-fun BLAST of a night!!
It was fun being out in the wild, wilder... wild, wilder...wilder, wild...wilder. What I mean is, it was fun being in the outdoors. I know how much Nick loves the wilderness!

I don't consider myself a vain person but my vainity meter is high enough to gasp at that disgusting picture of myself. What I am trying to say is...I HATE your picture choice of us. I can say that because I love you, but I just don't love all the things you do. In real relationship comes real conflict and this is one of those times.
First of all, there doesn't exist such a picture of you with the description "disgusting".
However, see the reward that comes with being upfront and honest? I deleted ONE pic of us, but only one. I'm assuming you hated that one of us upside down where all the blood is running to our heads and we look like we're ready to explode. Maybe if you lovingly conflict again, I'll look into another, but I doubt it!! Anyways, I was trying to pick ones that had you in them so I didn't look like a narcissist!
awww...you SO did not have to delete it!!!! Girl, now I feel bad. I actually thought it was pretty funny. Well, you're VERY sweet to say there is no such thing as a digusting picture of me. You can put it back on there, I was just mocking "The Safest Place on Earth". Which by the way...how is Ando's hole in his foot? Your back yard with no shoes on was DEFINATELY not the safest place on earth last night. Actually it wasn't the safest place on earth when you ran my daughter over with your lawn mower either. LOL!! Love you Lu.
I love the pictures...I hate I missed the "blood rushing to your head pictures" post it again!! Don't worry about the Christmas wreath - I'm happy to tell you it's Christmas in July! On our way home from the Barrons game Christmas music was on the radio! So, your cool - just act like it was on purpose!
Love the pics. I too have my christmas wreath on the door. well its red.. you know those little berries. your boys are so hadsome. what are their ages??
Thanks, girls, for the Christmas wreath encouragement. I actually think I'll leave it there forever just becasue I can and it goes against EVERYTHING my OCD tells me to do!
Rachel...my boys are 8, 6, and 3. Wilby just had a bday today actually!
