Aaaawwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at the new addition to our family! Can you handle the cuteness??
There is a slight issue with him, however. Uummm...Matt doesn't know he has a new baby son with big eyes and ears and the cutest little cry in the world. It's a surprise for him. (That's what I've been telling the boys this week, anyway, so they won't say anything) Because the truth is...Matt hates cats. He's actually allergic to them, which is most likely the cause for his loathe of felines. However, this will be an outdoor baby, like our Max, so I'm confident that he won't send it back. That confidence is backed up with a healthy plan of manipulation that I've been constructing for weeks. Getting it out in blog-land is also all part of the manipulation, really. Because now that everyone (including all my faithful readers at his office...help me out here, girls!) has seen the little cutie on my post, and the boys will come home from school with just enough time to fall in love with him before daddy gets home...he'll have to say yes, right? Or does he want to be the BAD GUY? Mwa ha ha ha.... I am so bad, I know. But look at how cute that little teeny-tiny fella is!!
I had to do it. That's my story, and I'll let you know if I stick to it when Matty gets home! ;)Oh I must let the boys name him too...that will help in our defense.

I wish you were manipulating me with a surprise like that! He is soooo cute. I want to love him and squeeze him never let him go.
I can not get over how much that cat looks like you...especially when you spill stuff at the $ store ;D
Oh Abbey, teach me to be more like you. A true Proverbs 31 woman. I am so honored to be a reader of your blog!
Eeee-vil, like the fruu-its of the de-vil.
Seriously, I just commented Mwa, ha, ha, ha on somebody else's blog. I love to say it:
MWA, HA, HA, HA!
I'm hoping Matt uses his over-sized acorns to stand up and fight!
Abbey..you are a bad, bad girl..but he's such a cute baby! You'll have to ask me about the pet duck I met the other day..THAT's what ya'll need, A DUCK!
T. observed that he does not look very "outside" right now.
He is very cute. I have a problem adopting animals, so I feel your pain.
