A Brown Crunchy Christmas

Looks like if you've been dreaming of that, it just might come true for you! I can't believe it's a week before Christmas and I actually contemplated letting the kids play in the sprinkler today. We opted for a huge leaf pile instead. Oh well, that's what I get for living in the south, I suppose.

So, in honor of all things brown and crunchy, here are some things that I enjoy that fit that description...

  • Craft paper...so versatile, and so very cheap. Not to mention how wonderfully works into my obsession with wrapping paraphernalia.

  • Nestle crunch bars. Yummy.

  • Coffee Beans. Nothin' quite like freshly ground coffee!

  • Loofahs. Love me some exfoliation.

  • Whatever crunchy topped cinnamon thing Christa brought me from Panera not too long ago. Tasty.

  • My bangs in the 80's. Those were sweet.

  • Star anise. Yummy smelling potpourri... and pretty to look at.

  • Empty locust skins. Those are cool. (and the only "bugs" I'll actually touch)

  • Those brown croutons at Ruby Tuesday's salad bar. Mmmmm....

Well that was boring. I think I'll go lay out for a bit. I could use some color for our Christmas photos.

Not boring.

I love your "crunchy" bangs. I'd like to meet someone who DIDN'T have crunchy bangs in the late eighties.

I smiled the whole time.

yeah, brown crunchy is all we have at Christmas around here. our leaf situation is out of control here so it fits with the weather. ;)

you didn't mention old dog or cow poop. Do you not like that?

Come to my house Abbey! It started turning cold on Saturday. Today we had snow flurries with a dusting sticking to the ground. It's going down to 18 tonight.
The only thing brown and crunchy around here is the frozen mud.

I have similiar weather to Marsha right now. Brown and crunchy, some fancy brown sugar cookies that I dont make time to make b/c I know that my neighbor friend makes them and shares with me (something they did just now!)
