If my blog were a brownie,
I'd post something every day.
If each day was the weekend,
I'd sleep it all away.
If sleeping was my dearest friend,
I'd never wake me up.
If waking was a toast to life,
I'd pour myself a cup.
If a cup would hold my thoughts inside,
I'd fill it to the top.
If being filled meant happiness,
I'd pour and never stop.
If stopping were like starting,
I'd be in constant motion.
If moving made me fall in love,
I'd dive into your potion.
If your poison was the death of me,
I'd be surely gone for good.
If goodness was the magic cure,
I'd drink it like I should.
If I should keep on going here,
I'd be the crazy one.
If one was all the brownies left,
My blog would now be done.
I think I'll go make a pan. Mommy 'serves it!

Your pretty amazing but I get tired of thinking it and I probably don't tell you enough. Do something with these skills that God has blessed you with. I've always thought of you writing a book full of short stories, or a mommy book - but now poetry! Ya killin me!
As my Mom always says, "You're a poet and don't know it, but your feet show it...they're Longfellows." Just thought that kinda went with your tiny green dancer theme.

Wow! I should post a poem every day! My head is so painfully huge right now, it's probably going to cause some major damage before the day is over.
