What do Elliot's finger mustache, new buds on my Crepe Myrtle, the tire swing, new hydrangea leaves, Ando's sliver of pie for an eye, some ivy, my favorite hat, our birdie bed and breakfast, some white flowers, sleepy Jones, a pink azalea, a weed and that little monkey in the middle have in common?
My new digital camera! My great aunt left me some money, and it was just enough to buy some new clothes and an amazing camera. I could take shots of your nose hair from across the room with this thing. And maybe I will...
However, I typically end up with just like 50 pictures of the side of Matt's face. My favorite thing is this... "Hey, honey?" Then when he looks up, "click"... Really zoomed in. Hee Hee.... Love love love it.

FUN! What camera did you get?
Oh, and I see Wilson is really enjoy "The Shack" in the bottom left picture! :)
I got the Nikon D40. I already have the "old school" Nikon 35mm, so I already have the enormous zoom lens for it.
Oh, yeah! Matt is actually reading through 'The Shack' with the boys. (Obviously not Wilson!)But the other boys, and they are loving it.
Guess Troy is just flying the important people to Vegas.. us pee-ons are going Southwest!!! Tell him, to look for us at the blackjack table when he gets there! ;)
Have you heard the song from that first Proverbs verse? We sing it in church all the time. I love it.
Oh! I love the D40. I wish I had the extra lens, maybe I will get one for my birthday. Hey if you want to put a bug in Troy's ear, my birthday is i two weeks! :) Yes, I think he probably has the "more important people", as you put it. :) I am sure the landing with Southwest will not be near as good as the one Troy would have given you. Call him when you get there, he wants to meet up with you guys.
Can you believe I'm just now pulling suitcases out of the closet? I wish I was already snoozing!
We will definitely call Troy when we get there... it'll be fun to see him there!
And I will put that bug in his ear about the lens! ;) The camera is so great! It was expensive though! I won't even let the kids touch it!
Oh, I HATE landings on airplanes! Don't even mention a rough one. I awlays think my butt's gonna drag the ground. (Well the plane's butt, but you know what I mean. Aaaaa! Hate that part!)
