So my 3rd son is possibly a tad on the "over-exposed" side. I'm positive that my oldest two had not seen Star Wars by the age of 3. Wilson, on the other hand, has indeed seen the first one and I am not so proud of that now, to tell you the truth.
Here's an example of why that is... I overheard him in active "Star Wars dialogue" today, complete with light saber waving about everyone's head. After the "he's so cute and smart and funny" clouds let loose their grasp on my dreamy thoughts and reality set in, what I noticed was that everyone in his dialogue was getting their head chopped off with his light saber. Call me crazy, but that sounded a pinch harsh to me, coming from the mouth of a 3 year old!
So I asked him to tell my camera a story, (to test how deeply this violence was actually embedded into my child's tiny brain) and the only guideline I gave him was to not chop off any heads in the plot.
And this is what came of that.... (pause the music playlist on the side before you watch)
Peace, Love and all that Jazz...

Oh yes, all three of my boys, including my not-quite-three-year-old, love Star Wars. Felix has a light saber on him at all times- making swishing noises as he cuts things.
I loathe Star Wars.
Hahaha! Love that little sneaky way at the end of getting his head chopped off- by a tree.
Btw, could he BE any cuter?!!!
That was so precious and cute. And, I have to say this, and hope it doesn't make you sad, but that laugh of yours at the end sounds like just your sweet Mom.
oh my.. i am crying.. i was laughing so hard. i guess because I have an almost three year old and i can relate so well.
what is it with boys and their makeup to want to destroy everything. i love it. i absolutely love that he caught himself about to chop the head off the spider and then remembered the rules.. but stuck it in at the end.. what creativity if you ask me. because hey.. he didn't chop the spider.. that should count for something.. no wait, the tree chopped his head off!
Abbey.. he is adorable!
He's adorable and it was fun to hear your giggles too as I laughed out loud at the same time. :)
LOL! I am so laughing! My own four year old makes me laugh think and smile with her little stories she askes to make up! Oh, they are too fun!
Ok, I laughed out loud at that video!!! So imaginative! Boys are sooo different, Coleman had introduced me to an entirely different world. :)
Too cute!!!
(I left this as a response to your comment on my blog as well) Steph and I have talked and we talked to Michelle and we think that having the get-together on June 21st would be best. So we'd get to B'ham around the 15th or 16th.
Also I don't know how to invite people. I'm not sure who lives in the area (or close) and who doesn't.
All right, 'lunger', let's do it. (you're supposed to say, "Say when")
Boys are so funny.
"I didn't chop anything off"...that made me laugh!
Hey Abbey, I just got a comment from Kenny about a get together at your house.
Could you email me more about that. I'm sure we would love to come.
Email is my whole name @charter.net
Hey, Abbey! (This is Stephanie.)We're counting down the days...we're so excited. Kenny and I were talking about the food factor at the party...what about you guys, the Quinn's and us take care of the drinks, chips, plates, cups, utensils, etc. and everyone else can bring food...? What do you think? Maybe we can ask 1 or two families to provide the meat, and everyone else can provide the sides and desserts. Tell me what you think! Michelle, if you're reading this, give your input too!
By the way, that video of Wilson is hilarious. You really should think about sending it to Funniest Home Videos. But, if you win the $10,000 you have to share it with us!!!
Ah yes, the male phyche... who can explain it. It must've been a male that wrote the "children's" song, 'Little Bunny Fufu'. He walked through forest and knocked off heads, too.
What a smart little guy, learning at such a young age!! Makes you feel proud eh?!! He really is such a cute little man:)
Ah, yes . . . chopping off heads. What fun! I mean sure, roller coasters are fun, amusement parks are fun, playing in the mud is fun, but chopping off everyone's head . . . now, that's real fun!
