Today has been a fast moving day! I've gotten almost nothing done, and evening is fast approaching. I had better get moving! Maybe I can at least get supper on before Ando's football practice...
I leave for the beach tomorrow morning with a girlfriend and I can't wait. That is most likely the source of my procrastination. If I know I'm about to get away...I mean totally away...then I can't seem to stay mentally here long enought to leave! In my mind, I'm already walking the shoreline. Listening to God through the waves and the ocean breeze. Going into a total trance on the balcony, soaking in the view from a distance. Diving into a great book with no guilt about how long I sit there and how many times I dose off while reading. Wiggling the cold sand in between my toes....Aahhhh...."What!? Who has poopie pants?" ...Oh, sorry...I forgot I was still here. Anyway, I guess I should go and change those stinky drawers. It will be quite nice, I must admit, to only have to tend to my own behind for 3 days!!! Hopefully Sybil won't walk in on me while I'm tending to it, like everyone here does on a fairly regular basis! Sheesh!
Well, enough poop talk. Must get moving on that dinner....but somehow all I can think about is fish. Maybe crab legs. Ooooh...shrimp. No, baked oysters! Oh, Gumbo...Yummy!!!

ok, i don't get the whole poop thing. you guys mention it way too much. is it symbolic for something else? what does it mean? we're kind of poop-challenged in our house with john being the only male and dj being constipated all the time. help....
