My Obituary Story

This is dedicated to anyone who needs to feel beautiful today. I certainly do.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful woman. She knew beauty because she knew the Creator of it. She knew Him well and she loved Him. She trusted His patient pursuit of her soul. Her freedom was found in resting in His arms. She laughed because there was Joy within her. She wept because of her deep sorrow. She took her tears to Him and He held her. She took her anger to this same God, and He loved her. She took her sin to Him and He forgave her. She took her sorrows to Him, and He comforted her. She took her joy to Him and He delighted in her. She worshipped Him and He was pleased. She was playful like a child and He danced with her. She was fearful and He was her Defender. She was sinful and forgave her. He was her Righteousness. She was hopeless and He gave her Hope. He was her Redemption. Her soul was made complete because of Him. She was satisfied. And she was beautiful.

And they lived happily ever after...

Michelle, thanks for liking my story! I wish it could've been titled "How I Live my Current Daily Life". However, I can only hope that when I'm 90 years old, I will have experienced a little taste of this kind of beauty in Him. For now, I just try to wear pretty jewelry and stuff like that. So, can I share your story? But can you just promise to print my obituary story anyway, when I die? Maybe no one will roll their eyes too badly. Well, except for Mr. Meowgi. But maybe he'll say that makes sense with my story. HA!

And as for you, Ms. Aly. If you don't get a blog, I'm going to come to TN and carve my initials into your new dining room table. Now there. How does a threat work for you? Let me know, so I can think of my next tactic. I already tried to shame you into it. Maybe threats will do the trick...
